Bill Moseley, who has had memorable turns in cult horror classics like “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2,” “Repo! The Genetic Opera” and Rob Zombie’s Firefly trilogy, is set for a key role in the upcoming slasher “Stream.”

The news comes after eagle-eyed fans noticed Moseley in a split-second of the film’s trailer and speculated that he might make an appearance. Michael Leavy, the writer, director and producer of the film, confirmed the news to Variety.

“Yes the rumors and leaks are true,” Leavy said in a statement. “I can confirm that horror legend Billy Moseley is in fact in ‘Stream.’ This is something we have been sitting on for quite a while and we are super honored and excited to have Bill showcase his talents on the big screen. Horror fans will not be disappointed! ‘Stream’ is a fun ride and we hope everyone will pre-order their tickets to see it in theaters, spread the word and tell their friends to come along!”
