Disney+ is expanding into horror territory and is now streaming the first seven “Saw” films following the release of the franchise’s tenth installment last year.
Starting Thursday, June 13, Disney+ subscribers can now stream the first seven films of the Jigsaw-led horror series through the streamer’s Hulu bundle. The first seven films are: “Saw” (2004), “Saw II” (2005), “Saw III” (2006), “Saw IV” (2007), “Saw V” (2008), “Saw VI” (2009) and “Saw 3D” (2010).
Although for a time the “Saw” series became tiresome to the culture after releasing ten films over nearly 20 years, it’s remained a cult favorite among horror fans. Created by John Kramer (Tobin Bell), the beloved series began with the eponymous serial killer named Jigsaw who tried to get his victims to appreciate their lives through murderous games that demanded sacrifice. With every new film, the series has swelled and grown more complex. Kramer died in the third installment, opening the door for a new Jigsaw, Mark Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) and along the way more family members, enemies, friends and protégés are introduced, creating a surprisingly dense “Saw” family tree.

While the most recent three films are not available on Disney+ (they’re available to rent/purchase on Prime Video and Apple TV+), the first films are widely regarded as the best of the series anyway. That being said, the franchise has never been a critical favorite, with the series’ top-rated installment on Rotten Tomatoes sitting at 50% rotten.
But if you’re looking to begin your “Saw” journey for the first time or re-binge the blood-soaked series, stream the first seven “Saw” films on Disney+ below:
