Biography: Seattle Slew was an American Thoroughbred racehorse, best known as the tenth winner of the American Triple Crown (1977). He and his descendant, Justify, who won the Triple Crown in 2018, are the only two horses to have won this title while undefeated in any other race.
Seattle Slew caused a great deal of excitement during his career, as well as serving as a famous sire after his retirement from racing. Two of his sons, Swale and A.P. Indy, won the Belmont Stakes. His descendants have also continued to much success.
