Taylor Tomlinson (Actor/Comedian)

Taylor Tomlinson (born November 4, 1993) is an American stand-up comedian from Orange County, California who gained recognition for her Netflix comedy specials “Quarter-Life Crisis” (2020) and “Look At You” (2022). She is taking over James Corden’s late night slot as the host of CBS’ “After Midnight,” which will also stream on Paramount+. The late night talk show will air in 2024 and follow episodes of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.” Colbert is serving as an executive producer on “After Midnight.” The series is based on “@midnight,” which followed “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central from October 2013 to August 2017. That show was a panel series with mostly guest comedians who would interact with host Chris Hardwick. Jack Martin, showrunner on all four seasons of “@midnight," and Eric Pierce will serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Comedian and writer Jo Firestone will be co-executive producer and head writer. Alexx Wells will also serve as co-executive producer.

Tomlinson recently struck a deal with Netflix for her next two standup specials to premiere on the streamer. She taped her latest special in Washington, D.C., for a 2024 premiere date. Tomlinson saw her star rise in 2020 when “Quarter-Life Crisis” launched on Netflix right before the pandemic started. Meanwhile, she’s still at work on a Village Roadshow Pictures film based on her upbringing, which she’s writing with Taylor Tetreau and will star in for director Paul Weitz.
