Amazon Music Drama The Runarounds From Outer Banks Creator Adds Six to Cast

The Runarounds,” a young adult drama inspired by the real eponymous band, has added six series regulars to its cast. Brooklyn Decker, Maximo Salas, Marley Aliah, Hayes MacArthur, Mark Wystrach and Shea Pritchard are joining on to the cast of the series, created by “Outer Banks” creator Jonas Pate and produced by Skydance Television.

The series stars William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock and Jesse Golliher of the real-life band —alongside creator Pate’s daughter Lilah Pate and Kelley Pereira.

Per the show’s logline: “The series follows a tight-knit group of young adults from all walks of life who come together to form a rock band the summer after graduating from high school. Against the backdrop of Wilmington, North Carolina, The Runarounds will have to choose between succumbing to the pressures of real life or risking it all to become the greatest band of all time.”
